About Us
Ilesa Iyipada is a manifestation of the prayers and sacrifices of countless Ancestors. The goal of our temple is to provide a safe space for those in need of healing, learning, and a sense of belonging. We do not believe that spirituality should be elitist. Instead, our core understanding is that we have simply forgotten that we are endowed with an ability to tune into a frequency that connects all conscious beings. Through balanced character, healing, ancient sciences, and personal transformation, our mission is to leave a world our children will be proud to inherit.
Awo Ifakayode Orisatolu Ogunleye is a devoted father, husband, priest, teacher, and spiritual medium. Initiated in the sacred lineages of Ifá and Obatalá, he carries ancestral roots that stretch from Oyotunji African Village in South Carolina, to Gainesville, Florida, and all the way to Osogbo, Nigeria. Since 1998, he has also served as an Egungun priest and a committed member of Egbe Egungun, preserving and uplifting ancestral veneration through ritual, community, and guidance. Moved by divine instruction and ancestral call, Awo Ifakayode founded Ilesa Ayo in 2016, which is now known as Ilesa Iyipada — a spiritual house born out of a vision to cultivate community among seasoned practitioners and those newly called to the Ifá-Orisa path.

Iya Shango Didi is a mother, wife, Priest of Shango, spiritual coach, teacher, medium, and diviner. She embodies the fiery grace of her Orisha, channeling divine wisdom through both lived experience and ancient spiritual systems. With a gift for bridging the spiritual and the practical, she empowers others to reclaim their purpose, heal generational wounds, and align with divine destiny.As the Executive Director of Ilesa Iyipada, Iya Shango Didi co-leads the temple’s offerings — teaching classes, organizing festivals, and guiding spiritual services with clarity, compassion, and sacred intention. She is also the founder of Do The Healing Work, LLC, a global spiritual wellness company that has supported hundreds across continents in beginning — and sustaining — their personal journeys of transformation. Rooted in her calling and fueled by community, Iya Shango Didi continues to be a beacon for those ready to rise, release, and return to themselves.
